Kildare Ladies Extra-Fit mid-height Country Boots in Walnut

With its mid-height design, the Kildare is an easy-to-wear, pull-on waterproof boot that is perfect for dog walking or a quick trip into town. The waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX Product Technology and ExtraFit™ width, allow room for ladies with wider calf muscles, foot width and a higher instep. Team them with jeans, a Dubarry sweater and performance jacket for a relaxed country casual combination.

The walnut leather is a luxuriously natural leather and compliments any outfit pairing. This natural and rugged yet soft and supple to touch walnut leather oozes classic elegance.

All of our footwear is manufactured in the EU sizing, meaning that the UK measurements are rough estimates to the nearest decimal place. To ensure our customers select the fit close to their UK size, a UK alternative has been added beside the EU options, which is why the options resemble the following: 41/7.3

How should Kildare boots fit?
Your Kildare Country boot should fit comfortably, and your toe shouldn’t press against the top of the boot while walking or the widest part of the foot shouldn’t be pinched by the boot. These mid-height boots are designed to fit comfortably and should have a little wiggle room for the foot to expand during the course of the day. You will experience a small heel lift because of the design of the shoe as one of our looser-fitting country boot.

If you are in between sizes, a footbed will help raise your foot and allow the boot to fit better. If you find the smaller size too small but the bigger size too big, then the footbed will raise the foot and take away a quarter of a shoe size.

Which calf fit am I?
Our Kildare Country boot is available in 2 fits: ExtraFit™ and RegularFit™. The name of each fit correlates with the width of one’s calf. For instance, the ExtraFit™ option is suitable for those with a wider calf. However, please take into consideration these boots are a mid-height boot.

Who is this boot ideal for?
The Kildare is the ideal country boot for somebody with a high instep due to the shorter length of the boot - it is easier to pull on. It’s also perfect for people who want to experience the outdoors but prefer a shorter boot and a little more calf room.

Dubarry GORE-TEX footwear is 100% waterproof and highly breathable allowing feet to stay dry and comfortable. Dubarry GORE-TEX garments are waterproof and windproof with optimised breathability.

Duo compound PU and rubber sole

A combination of duo compound PU midsole with our rubber outsole offers shock absorbency, durability and underfoot comfort.

Quick Dry

Quick dry fabrics do not absorb sweat, but transfer it quickly to the surface of the clothes and evaporate it through air circulation. On average quick-dry fabrics dry 50% faster than cotton fabrics.

DryFast-DrySoft™

These leathers are specially treated to absorb less moisture and require 70% less drying time compared to other leather types, ensuring that your Dubarry footwear will always be soft and supple.

Step 1

Remove any mud, manure and salt water with clean cold water using a brush to get rid of more stubborn grime.

Step 2

Apply Dubarry Footwear Cleaner all over, including any fabric sections, and work-in, brushing vigorously until it lathers.

Step 3

Rinse well with water and allow to dry naturally for 24 hours before any further treatment.

Step 1

Apply Dubarry Leather Conditioner all over with a clean cloth/sponge or soft brush, paying particular attention to the flex area of the foot.

Step 2

It may take several layers of application depending on the condition of your footwear.

Step 3

Clean off any excess fluid and allow to dry for 2-3 hours before next treatments.

Spray Dubarry Footwear Protector all over your footwear, applying several layers, allowing absorption of each layer before applying the next.

Step 2

Applying Dubarry Footwear Protector restores the water repellency of the leather.

Step 3

This step is best completed outside or in a well-ventilated area.

For footwear that gets plenty of outdoor use we recommend that you use our Dubarry Leather Cream.

HOWEVER this is for use on smooth/pull-up leathers ONLY. DO NOT USE ON SUEDE OR NUBUCK.

Apply sparingly with a soft cloth or brush paying particular attention to the flex area that bends as you walk.
